Program Description:

Federal agencies are experiencing knowledge management challenges.  They are looking for answers to two very important questions, “How do we preserve and document mission critical knowledge?” and “How do we ensure that people have the right knowledge, at the right time, to learn?”  This highly interactive and informative webinar will provide you with a practical process for knowledge management to improve individual and organizational performance. By first differentiating between what knowledge management is and is not, participants are able to demystify the often confused topic. Opportunities will be provided to discuss the importance of knowledge management as well as the key components to ensure its effectiveness.  In this session, we will learn from a knowledgeable thought leader in the field some of the practical considerations around capturing, storing, and sharing organizational knowledge as well a practical approach to addressing knowledge management challenges.
