How To Revamp A Meeting! 

Have you been to a boring meeting? Are you currently experiencing a meeting you wish was better? Do you want to learn how to improve your meetings? If you said yes to any of these questions, this is the right workshop for you! We will take an experiential approach by utilizing an existent or an upcoming meeting you would like to improve or prepare for professionally or personally. This can be a meeting for work or outside of work. We will cover essential meeting design and facilitation skills to improve your meeting to ensure it is purposeful, engaging, impactful, and enjoyable. Whether you are a master facilitator, or new to it, we will create space to practice and learn with each other and have fun. 

Participants will:  

  • Learn the benefits of designing and facilitating meetings 
  • Learn key skills for improving meetings
  • Practice how to improve an existent or upcoming meeting 
  • Engage in discussions to foster learning

  

Presenter:  Beza E. Ayalew is dedicated to improving the health and success of leaders, teams, organizations, and communities by maximizing human potential, cultivating meaningful connections, and leveraging innovative solutions. She has 15+ years of experience in leadership development, change management, workforce engagement, strategic planning, and public health. Beza is an Organization Development (OD) Consultant, Executive/Leadership/Team/Group Coach, Facilitator, Trainer, and Public Health Advisor. She specializes in transforming leaders, teams, and cultures to exceed their goals. She applies strengths-based approaches and assessments to promote maximum organizational impact. She brings the unique blend of a research background, diverse practical experience in public and private sectors, including government agencies, and applies effective approaches to drive innovation.

Beza is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Associate Certified Coach (ACC). She completed a Leadership Coaching for Organizational Well-being certification from George Mason University (GMU). She has a Leadership Circle Profile (LCP) 360 assessment certification.  She earned a Master’s in Public Health from Boston University and holds a Master of Science degree in Organization Development and Knowledge Management from the Schar School of Policy and Government at GMU.
