A Way to Accelerate Leadership

Emotional Intelligence (EQ/EI) is defined as adeptness at managing ourselves and our interactions with others.  Ample research identifies EI as a factor that makes a positive difference, both for the organization and for the individual. With organizations needing leadership today more than ever before, developing greater emotional intelligence (EI) in their people has major impact. While IQ is fixed, EQ/EI can be learned, so we don’t have to settle for poor EI. Analysis of studies of hundreds of executive and leadership abilities in 15 global businesses was conducted — 90% of the difference between outstanding and average leaders was linked to EQ.

For this workshop, we suggest you complete a mini-EI self-assessment provided after you register. The program will present major research on the correlation between emotional intelligence and leadership development, provide the characteristics of emotional intelligence, and give you an opportunity to build your capability in at least one of the EI areas.
