Topic - The Grey Zone: Where Coaching Meets Therapy

The fields of coaching and therapy have much in common yet we're hesitant to acknowledge the value and commonalities between the two. Where do we draw the line? Our October program will introduce Alfred Adler (1870-1937), often called “the Father of Coaching.” As a world renowned philosopher and psychiatrist, his ground-breaking theories during the early 1900's began addressing such crucial and contemporary issues as equality, parent education, the influence of birth order, life-style, and the holism of individuals. Join us to explore Adler’s work and its impact and connection to coaching and psychology today. There will be practical/experiential exercises for people to “feel” the experience of Adlerian coaching.

Presenter: Pascale Brady, CPCC, PCC, MBA
