Topic: Leverage the Power of LinkedIn to Enhance Your Business

How well are you using LinkedIn to effectively market your talents and business offerings?  In this session we will discover some tips as well as substantial tools to leverage the power of this platform to target the type of business you want.  Participants will be able to share their successes and learn from each other as to what works and doesn't work.  Topics include how to implement changes to your profile and how to protect your identity on LinkedIn (and other social media platforms).  Join us for this informative session and leave with a greater awareness and improved confidence in using this powerful social media platform for your benefit.

Presenter: Katy Breuer, ACC

Katy is the founder of the Breuer Group, an executive coaching and consulting company, as well as an executive coach for 2U, an education technology company.  She is a graduate of the Georgetown Executive Coaching program and holds an MBA from George Washington University.  She serves as the Program Director of the Project Management Executives Council of The Conference Board in NY which brings together senior executives in project management.   Also, Katy is a regular co-host on Executive Leaders Radio, a nationally syndicated business radio show interviewing CEOs, CFOs and Presidents. Katy has more than 30 years of experience in corporate leadership, managing teams, developing leaders and directing large global programs at Marriott International.

Changes:  We are changing the way we run the Coaching Community of Practice.  Those who receive notice they are on the attendance list will pay $5.00 by Venmo to reserve their place.  We will send instructions regarding using Venmo when you receive notice you are on the attendance list.  We will not be offering refunds.  We ask that cancellations be at least 48 hours in advance so we can contact those on the waiting list and give them sufficient notice to attend.  If necessary, last minute cancellations are appreciated so we can do the appropriate room set-up.

In order to balance who attends we delay notifying those on the attendance list for up to a week to include those who have not attended recently.  We also encourage new members to attend.  We apologize if you do not get on the attendance list each month and hope you understand that we want to include more members, not only those who responded quickly.  We limit our sessions to 30 attendees as we sit in a circle to encourage full participation. From now on those who are 'no-shows' or last minute cancellations will  be placed on the waiting list for future meetings until we have openings.   RSVP only if you want to attend, no need to send 'regrets.'

Please let us know if you are a new member or have not attended the last three or more sessions.  We are very grateful for your interest and support.

We need a few volunteers to help set up the room.  Please let me know if you can assist us at 6:00.

You will receive notification within the next seven days about whether you are on the list to attend or on the waiting list.  Also, please include the phone number where you can be reached if we need to contact you the day of the meeting.  Be sure to check your email for any updates if the weather is challenging or for any other changes that evening.
