Topic: Storytelling - A Powerful Tool for Professional Success and Personal Fulfillment

Storytelling has long been used to educate, motivate, inspire and unify. It is perhaps the oldest and most organic form of passing knowledge and wisdom from one generation to the next. There is renewed interest in storytelling, as researchers have discovered a powerful link between the stories we tell and the outcomes we experience. In short, storytelling is not just descriptive – it is also predictive! The stories we tell about can:

  • Create a vision for personal and professional success
  • Galvanize support for an idea, proposal, project or initiative
  • Help leaders, supervisors and team members communicate a message to influence action and change

It is vital for personal and professional fulfillment and success to be mindful and intentional of the stories we tell about ourselves and our journey. That will be the focus of this session. It will be an experiential mini-workshop focused on helping participants begin to create the stories that will pave the path to personal fulfillment and professional success.
