Topic: Facilitating Meetings enabled by Group Systems' Think Tank

Description: Our speaker, Renelle Rae, will focus on how facilitation methods she uses are enabled by Group Systems' most current offering, Think Tank represents over 25 years of evolution, as Jay Nunamaker, one of the pioneers in collaborative decision-making technologies, founded Group Systems.  Beginning in 1985, the ground-breaking capabilities of real-time anonymous voting sparked innovations  as brainstorming sessions could be conducted in entirely new ways.  Conducted in awe-inspiring Decision Support Centers, featuring many interconnected personal computers organized in a semi-circle so everyone was looking at each other, brought widespread attention to his theories.

SIG Description: The Government SIG hosts monthly conference calls to discuss topics or techniques relevant to the practice of OD in federal or local government.

Vision: We hold ourselves accountable as life-long learners in the field to contribute to the future growth and knowledge of government and public sector OD practices.
Mission:   To share best OD practices, trends and policies in the government and publicsectors through monthly SIG meetings for both internal and external consultants.
